- This time I am returning to An Beal
Bocht Cafe for a solo acoustic performance on April 22. More info
here. Also, I have a
new website for myself,
ederenberg.com, as I am flirting with
returning to my real name. I will be posting many, many demos and other
recordings from my collection from 1985 to the present. It seems like
something to do.
- Okay, so we took another break.
While Brett is busy at home getting used to fatherhood, Ron and I are going
to perform as an acoustic duo for one show and even cooler, we'll both be
playing guitars. This will happen once again at An Beal Bocht Cafe in
Riverdale, which is a terrific, intimate spot for this sort of thing. Come
join us! More info here.
- Break over! Atomsmasher will
perform acoustically at An Beal Bocht Cafe in Riverdale, NY. The show will
feature songs from all phases of Atomsmasher's 15 years together including a
few from the still-incubating new CD. We don't do this too often anymore, so
you ought to join us. More details
here.
- Okay, well, we are taking a break
from live performances for a few months for various reasons. However, this
just means more time to finish new material. In the meantime, I am going to
start posting more songs from Atomsmasher's large archive of unreleased
recordings. You can find them
here.
- Let it be known! Atomsmasher is
officially reducing itself to a trio for live shows to match its status as a
three man recording unit. By streamlining, the band can now play material
from any time in its 15-year history. To celebrate, we will play a show at
Limerick on Saturday, May 7th featuring an amazing assortment of old and new
songs. Details here.
- Ok! Atomsmasher kicked ass at the
Original
Sessions/Jagermusic Buzz Band Search at
Limerick and is moving on to the next round victorious. The next show is at Blaggard's on
Friday March 4th at 10 PM, located at 8 W. 38th Street between
5 & 6. Come on out and cheer on the one and only Atomsmasher!

on January 31 to proud parents Ed and Pam! This rockstar in the making will
playing her first gig sometime in the next 15 years or so- watch for her!
- What? A show?! Yes, it is true.
Atomsmasher will play the Original
Sessions/Jagermusic Buzz Band Search at
Limerick on Saturday, January 15 at 10:45 PM. Flyer for the gig is
here. This is Jeff's
first show so if you're in NYC or nearby, don't miss it.
- Big Announcement: Stephen Scollard,
our good friend
and bass player for the last year has announced his departure from
Atomsmasher. This is a 100% friendly parting and while we are sad to see him
go, we had an great time hanging and working with Stephen and are glad we
got the chance. The question becomes: who will play bass in Atomsmasher? The
answer is Jeff Cusner, childhood buddy of Ron, and he has already rehearsed with
the band for a while and is way ready to go. His skills are quite
considerable, and you will definitely want to catch him live with us at
Limerick.
- Atomsmasher's song Always Right
is featured on the Matchbox Recordings sampler, Playtime.
More info here.
